C2 Rear bumper brace rod........Install question

Hi Guys; My 65 is missing the passenger side rear bumper brace rod, as pictured. I would like to install, however, the idea of removing my rear bumper is not ideal.... Can this part be bolting in without removing the rear bumper? Thanks in advance.

I think you will find the rear valance need to come out in order to access the 7/16 bolts on the bumper securing the rod.

Exhaust tips too need to be removed to get the valance out.

Dave, I have never tried it but if you remove the spare tire tub maybe you can install the bolt through the exhaust panel slot, I a piece of paper installed in the socket to hold the bolt. good luck.

Dave like Mene said just pull down the rear valance and its right there i just did it yesterday not that difficult
