C4 Locking Lug Nut Bags

Folks, I have just about finished compiling a listing of all the Locking Lug Nut Bag Numbers for the C4's.
In most cases I have a photo to go along with the number.
The only two years that I do not have information on are 1987 and 1991.
I have the locking lug nut bag number for the 1991 ZR1.
If anyone has the number or better yet a photo, I would appreciate it.

Additionally for the year 1996, I have two locking lug nut bag numbers: 10282616-DUJ.
Also, I have 10282618. The 94-96 Judging Manual shows this bag to be for a 1996 LT1.

I have been advised that the locking lug nut bag with number 10282616-DUJ is for the Grand Sport.

Any clarification on the 1996 would also be
appreciated.
When I have this data base finished, it is available to everyone.

The bag 10282618DUJ is correct for a 1996, but don't know if there were two different bags one for a LT-1 and one for a LT-4.

Also, I have 10282618. The 94-96 Judging Manual shows this bag to be for a 1996 LT1.

Pat, I believe your second photo (10282618 DUK) is of my lug nut bag. Regardless of what the manual says, this bag originally came with my 96 LT4. Thanks.

Guys this is what I found out about lug nut bags. 10282618DUJ lug nut bag is for all 1996 corvettes with or without LT-1 or LT-4 motors.Lug nut bag 10282616JUD is for Grand Sport Coupe with RPO Z15(Z51) option, The rear tires are P315/35ZR/17. That is the reason for the bolt on rear fender flares. The Grand Sport convertibles have the same rear tires as all 1996 cars which are P285/40ZR17 with no rear fender flares. This information is listed in Corvette Black Book

Pat and Paul, thanks for the information. Two days ago I sent Tom Barr a lengthy email requesting some clarification on this matter concerning the 1996 locking lug nut bag numbers. I also recommended changing the information presented in the 94-96 Judging Manual on page 77. The last sentence of the statement needs to be clarified in more ways than one. I will be happy to let you know what Tom says in his response.
An additional clarification may be necessary on page 78 in that the bag shown with number 10282618 may be applicable to all 1996 Corvettes, except the Grand Sport that has bag number 10282616.
Please let me know if you have any additional comments. Also when the data base is finished I would be more than happy to send it to anyone who makes a request. This is not an official NCRS data base, it is just our observations that have been sent to Tom.

Pat I agree with one exception. I think the grand sport bag ending in 16 is for the coupe only as I stated the wheels and tires are larger on only the coupe. I could be wrong???

Ray, thanks for the photos.
I have photos of your bag number in a clear white bag with blue letters.
I know these locking lug nut kits were used on Firebirds and Camaros and I have a photo from a 1989 Firebird that shows the clear white with blue numbers with bag number 10034341.

All we need now is a reply concerning the 1991. I have the 1991 ZR1 number.

I think the 1991 may be 1008093, but I am not sure.

I have the original lug nut bag from my 90 L98. The bag has red lettering, number 10180888.

Ed, thanks for your information. Do you have an early or late build date? Another individual sent me the following photograph of what was suppose to be the locking lug nut bag from a 1990 Corvette. The bag number is 1008093. This is why I appreciate any help I can get. That is also the bag number for the 88 and 89 Corvette

The bag number that you furnished 10180888 is used from at least 92 until 95 on the non ZR1 Corvettes. If you have 10180888 for your 1990, then it is possible that the 91 is also 10180888.

I just take the information from our friends and I never make any judgment as to what is correct. I leave that to Tom Barr. That is why he gets paid those big bucks.
