C2 A/6 compressor parts # question for Joe Lucia or other.

Not much known about certain parts to be correct for year. Is there a part # change for the front clutch hub in the mid 60s when it changed design?
The hub started out with 6 holes (about 3/16) then switched over to a 3 spoke design. Also the main case was swaged a few years after the compressors came out. Did the case part # change?
There are different answers as to when and maybe it could be verified by a part # change as to what year they changed the design. They are both interchangeable and will fit all the A/6 compressors, but had a design change that determined the year application.
My question is: Was there a part# change on either of the 2 parts, the clutch hub or the case?
Sorry about no pics but hope for a answer determined by part #.

Dom -- as for the clutch, the part # remained the same from 1962 (chev) thru at least 1970, per my catalogs Gr 9.188 PLATE # 5914719. So the change from 6 holes to 3 windows did not merit a part # change. There's a thread over on Corvette-forum about the timeframe of the changeover. Seems sometime in 1966 or 67.

The shell (Gr 9.170 - body assy.) is not sold separately, but includes pistons, wobble plate, shaft. However, the 1970 catalog seems to indicate some change [in exactly what, it's not clear] between 1st design up to sometime in 1966, then changes to 2nd design (balance of) 1966 -1970, again according to my '70 P&A catalog. Whether the swage was eliminated in this change and replaced by the circumferential crimp, I don't know. I don't see where this feature mentioned in the '65 TIM&JG (5th ed.).

      Wayne,
Thanks, seems that you helped me with this once before. My confusion in your answer was the swage. The swaging tools I use do the crimp. So that's why I referred to the later as swaged. We swage cable ends with that style crimp with a circular tool.
      Again thank's.
