C3 - Brake Pad Lubricant Provided with AC Delco Organic Pads

I just received a set of AC Delco organic pads for the rear brakes on my '69 and it comes with a small package of silicon lubricant. The picture for application is not Corvette specific and leaves me with some questions on where this lubricant should be applied. It appears it should go between the Caliper pistons and the pad backing. Does any also need to be placed on the pins or anywhere else?
    Thanks,
    Jack

It's designed for the piston-pad backing plate interface and helps prevent brake noise. You don't need to use it on the pins but you can if you want to.

Joe is correct. The lubricant replaces the rubber insulating pads used by some manufactures in the past.
