I am pleased to announce that the NCRS discussion board now includes a forum for correction of errors in our judging manuals. The title of this forum is Technical Information Manual and Judging Guide Errata Sheets. I suggest that you make the noted changes to your judging manuals. This forum will be used only to correct errors in our manuals; it will not be used to post new information. Entries on this forum will be initiated by our National Team Leaders and approved and posted by me. Dave

Hi David,
This is terrific news!
Besides its obvious value it might well bring more members to the Forum and Discussion Board who haven't been visiting or posting!

Loren, do a cut and paste of the text into an email or word document then print it. What are you trying to print that used that much ink?

So Team Leaders will initiate posts that corrects information in the tech manual. This means they have gone through a process where they have reviewed incorrect items, studied, deliberated, and concluded what is in print is in error and needs correcting?
In contrast, consumers (non-team leader types), are prohibited from posting questionable tech manual items?Tom Russo

Re: Judging Manuals Errata Forum
I don't understand what looks to be negative comments in this thread. Many of us have been requesting an easy way to update our JG's with changes prior to the release of a new printing of the JG. Dave has come up with a quick and easy solution to the request.
The process of making additions or changes to the JG's has not changed. If you believe there needs to be a technical change in a particular JG you must request the change with the appropriate Team Leader and provide indisputable proof that supports your request. Each Team Leader then decides if a change is appropriate or not. Seems reasonable to me.

Re: Judging Manuals Errata Forum
Loren copy and paste the text from the form to Notepad or WordPad or another word processing program. It is really pretty easy. Select the text with your mouse by clicking at the beginning and dragging the mouse to the end. The text will all be highlighted. Next press the CTRL key and the c key together. This will copy the text to the clipboard. Now open your word processor and click in the entry area of the word processor and press CTRL and v to paste the text right into the word processor.
This process will work with almost any Windows program.Administrator
