Please look at the above car, post only one (1) judging comment (originality) to give others a chance.

There is one very serious issue, lets see who finds that one.

I'll start:

1) 1963 340 hp cars did not come with power steering.

Well assuming the VIN listed in the auction is a typo (VIN plate not provided for view) but the car really is #11472, then the birthday of this car would be about March 26, 1963... but the (very shiny) TRIM tag lists K4 which is July, 1963, 4th week.... Hmmmm. Does have the very rare 1963 side pipe option, though...

Carb throttle rod is on backwards. Threaded end goes on the lever. I have seen them hang on the air cleaner lid & stay wide open.

But was restored to NCRS. standards. So many thing wrong not going to list what I saw , to many. But did like the values he posted.

Coupes were very rare according to the vin and trim tag.

Steering wheel should be colored, not the wood plastic.

The steering box cover looks like it's aluminum, shouldn't it be cast? Gosh, hope he's not a member, he might not be happy. Hey, still looks like a fun car!

Brake pedal should reflect the words "Power Brake". I would be concerned about this car - lot of potential issues. The reason 340s and FIs didn't come with P/S is the P/S components interfered with the larger oil pan on optional engines. So, I guess this has a 250 or 300 HP oil pan. Really - too much to discuss here - I spent almost 2 years looking for a C2, I would have walked away from this one.

Thanks all, there were lots of items to observe here. Also the antenna is not 63 and the radio side panels are from a car pre VIN 11700.

Just some of the items we need to look at while judging.

The seller of the car is now researching his VIN and Trim tag..............
