I received my long awaited judging guide today, perfect timing as I am in the middle of the frame off of my 62..... All I can say is WOW, it is a fantastic document, I can't imagine the amount of work put in on this document, congratulations to the fine members who put this together, the pictures and detail is incredible. It is three times the thickness of the last pink one! Well that is the good news....the bad news, there are some cars out there that just went from top to second flight in one printing....get yourself one of these....the bar has been raised!

Re: 1961-1962 judging guide
Assuming the review to be correct, then perhaps it is time for a Shout-Out or Call-Out to the Team Leader of another 61-2 JG that "broke the
mold" of JG's formats, Keith Kibbe. Keith would go on to be Judging Chairman and President of NCRS, but the procedures he implemented in that
manual revision became a standard that forced Sam Folz to redo ALL of the other manuals. State your opinion for the record, publish all the opinions, review, distill reactions and reach a conclusion that everyone could live with. Prior to the ever-present computer, the Yeoman work of composition was done by Judy Kibbe, who probably never received any recognition at all, except at home.
Keith and Judy carved new ground, did it right and did it as volunteers, with never a thought of personal gain. BRAVO! And long overdue.- Top

Re: 1961-1962 judging guide
Full-color photos on the cover. After being (slightly) disappointed that it wasn't yet available at Corvettes at Carlisle, I picked mine up at the Winter Regionals in Lakeland last month. I concur, it's worth every penny. My '62 thanks all the hard-working individuals involved. So do I.- Top

I also bought a copy in Lakeland and it is a masterpiece!
Congrats to the authors, they've done a remarkable job on it.
Loren, what a great tribute to the Kibbe's. Sounds like they were great people.
John, You're gonna have to buy one to see!!!!(kiddin'....I'll take a peek at mine when I get out to the shop. White/red right?)
