1954 dual pot brillo pad
I had my lid rechromed some time ago. Originally there was a brass rivit that held the 3 prong pad in place. Any ideas how to reattach the pad now??? Exactly what was the purpose of the pad? Thanks folks

is the prong still in place?
If so bend the prongs and reinstall the pad
