Bought a new fuel filler door, for my car awhile ago, and I need to paint the insert to match the body color, just wondered if anybody had any tips to msk off the cast in emblem, I asked at the auto parts store if the had ant sprayable type of masking product , but they hadn't hear of such a thing.

When I have painted the 67 gas doors i just mask it off with tape. I get the tape where I buy my auto paints, a specialty shop if you will. I prefer it as it has the ability to be stretched around curves somewhat.
DonOThe light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off. -

Just mask it and trim with a sharp Xacto you should fine with that.
