Scott, always nice to see pic.s of others work, Nice job. I did my first body off complete restoration on my 63 a few years ago and performed all the work including paint and conv. top and interior. I still look at the car and smile it gives you a real since of accomplishment. My 63 was a true barn find and was sitting since 1981.

It looks great Scott. What is the build date? I'm wondering about the non-frosted hubcaps.

I saw that too, an early one, like my Dec. 7 build.

I'm December 13 and have frosted caps but they aren't original to my car.

Yes, the TIM&JG states the switchover to frosted was about VIN 7760, mine is 6556.

the car was built in February as I can tell, it had 65 hub caps when I bought it, I purchased these on ebay, its a non numbers matching car it does have a 327 in it, but it will never be a "correct" car but it is nice, now the blue 65 is a different story.

I love 64s! I own 6354! Original motor has a historical build date of 11/22/63 on the pad!
