Really not so far off topic Mike ---

I have seen a few of these marks as well --- its kind of a neat bit of extra originality --- that and the pad info and you some real information on the motor!!!

Just look on the bright side. At least no one has to have a team leader check this pad stamp. No doubt this 1974 GMC truck engine is a restamp. LOL
