1955 air cleaner
Any thoughts on who or how to disassemble 55 sealed air cleaner for rechroming? Appreciate any help.

Richard Fortier has it where he uses a lathe to the pull back the lower lip of the air cleaner. he can also supply jute if you are not able to use the other side of your original jute. a problem that might happen if the air cleaner is bady pitted is that more copper is used which will make the chrome on the lip more likely to crack when bending the lip back.Comment
