Are the attached pictured seat belts correct for a NCRS restoration ( no point deduction) ? If not, why? In addition whatever are your thoughts......to be clear these will be installed in a November 1961 built, model year 1962 black vinyl interior. Thank you for your input......still waiting on the new 62 judging guide....

Re: 1962 seat belts
Dino,
The seat belts in my 1962 Corvette #5055 with a December 8, 1962 build date are as follows. I have owned this car since 1972 and have no reason to believe they are not original to the car.
Male end has an almost square opening measuring 3/4” x 13/16” and the plate is stamped 235.
Female end is stamped: U.S. PATENT 2.458.810 The 1961/62 Judging Guide states this buckle was used to about 1962 Corvette #2500. I say this is wrong and it extends further into the year.
Buckle release casting is painted red to match the belt material and car’s interior color. The 1961/62 Judging Guide states that from about1962 Corvette #2200 to end of model run the buckle release is unpainted only, and again I say this is wrong and it extends further into the year.
Belt material is 4-panel web weave.
