1956 Corvette 2 x 4 Carb Fuel Pump

Hi,

Here is the fuel pump that I unbolted from a 2nd design motor, #4445AX. Researching the part number comes up with:

#4445 - 1955 - 1957 Chevrolet Racing


#4445 - 1957 - early 1958 Corvette fuel inj. priming pump


#4445 - 1957 - early 1958 Corvette 4 bbl

I am wondering if there is a possibility that it could have been originally equipped, considering the top list option, or was most likely a replacement part?

John I would expect to see AC cast into any original pump on a Corvette.
No AC then it is a replacement
