I would like to know if non-judged cars will be allowed inside. I attended the Texas Regional and there were several non-judged cars in the room as well. I really thought that was great because it helped fill the room and they were good cars to look at as well.

It sends a good sign to those who want to participate but not ready to be judged or have already done so.

Other cars in the room (called the judging field) must be registered for the show. For the most part those cars are Bowtie, Duntov or American Heratige display cars. Cars entered for Performance Verification (PV) are also required to be "on the judging field" while judging is taking place. There are some very strict rules about all the former mentioned cars being on the judging field for the duration of the meet. At some meets, if space permits, Sportsman cars are also allowed on the judging field, but depending on local rules, those may be Sportsman cars not needed for daily transportation by their owners. At an outdoor event Sportsman cars used for daily transportation usually may come and go from the judging field, but usually the logistics of indoor events prevents that kind of movement safely. Some of the above referenced cars are judged, although not Flight Judged, so it may be a mistake to think of them as "non-judged" cars. Cars simply brought to the meet by their owners are not allowed on the judging field unless they are registered in one of the above catagories.

Based on space availability but no guarantee, Founders and Sportsman cars could be eligible to park in the convention center provided they are not needed for your own personal transportation during the entire meet, because once cars enter the building on Thursday, they would be required to stay inside the convention center until the completion of all the judging on Saturday. Secure parking is available for those driving their cars to the meet which allows you to come and go but still have the comfort of knowing that they are in the secure parking area. Thanks Terry and Joan. Yes, you both are helping me with the correct terminology. I'm speaking of registered Sportsman cars. I'm new to this hobby and I like seeing everything and think it's better to have the field full even if some of the cars are Sportsman. At the Texas regional there was a great car that I really enjoyed seeing and it was in there as a Sportsman.

I'm not the only one who would like to attend and have our vintage cars inside. If there is space I don't see any downside to this idea.
