Thanks for posting that Jeff, I hope others will comment on the location and #'s. Can you comment approx. where on the drivers side is this located, I remember some #'s located in the bend on the D/S behind the steering box bolts.

Could you also look for a stenciled date on the frame?....JG says handwritten but I have seen many stenciled on passenger side. It would be great to see a photo.

Great! I have been trying to get this info out for 10 years, but no one seems to listen. I am glad you found a clear example. I cant decipher the code, though. I think the first charachter could maybe be shift? Followed by MM DD? No one seems to know. But all original examples I found are stencil......noy handwritten. Thanks for posting.
