I removed the windows and cleaned up all the tracks and regulator and reassembled. The windows now work great roll up and down fine. The door hinges have been rebuilt. I installed the hardtop and the windows fit terrible. It looks like the opening is too small. The window needs to go forward but I do not see any way to adjust them forward. the door is mounted as far forward as possible. Any advice please. thanks ED

Re: 59 window adjust hard top
Ed, If the front edge of the frame is not deep inside the front vertical, you may be able to get it forward by raising the rear window stop. There are 2 stops. The rear stop, if raised a little more will tilt the front ant top front corner frame of the window forward. Nut the stop can only come up so far before it interferes with the inner reveal molding.
You also have slight adjustment "slop" in the inner curved track. Sometimes you can t w e a k the window a little by loosening the Big phillips screws and wiggling the track into another position. The holes are big enough for a little adjustment.
Try some of these suggestions and take a few pictures and post them here if you don't solve it.
