I need so info/feedback on who restores C2 a/c compressors. I need to get mine rebuild before gong on the road tour this summer.

Jim, There is a regular poster here that rebuilds compressors, go to the members list, Domenic Tallarita.

Dom did mine and two other chapter members. Two 63's and one 65. They are works of art on the outside. The one on the 65 is back in the car and probably works better than it did when new. Mine and the other 63 will be back in the cars this spring. He takes them completely apart and goes over every piece in the unit. Communications with Dom are excellent.

Find a local AC shop. There's nothing special about the A6. Used on farm tractors up until late 80's. You only need special tools.

I have also had a few done by Domenic, his work is incredible. His units definitely come back better than new, work and looks flawless.
