when the weather gets warmer, i'll go out to the garages and get all the SCCA memorabilia from the cumberland nationals and see if i can identify the car's driver/owner. remind me in a month or two. leaving for lakeland fla coming weekend. mike

Taking the 56 Sebring car to Lakeland. Top finishing Corvette at Cumberland (and Elkhart Lake) C/M in 56.

it warmed up enough today. i went to the garage and got the 1964 12th annual cumberland natioal championship SCCA race program. the # 11 56-7 corvette was driven by don yenko. race #7 that day included dick lang in the # 85 stingray ,frank dominianni in c-1 # 69, ed myers in the # 84 stingray, and don blatchley in the # 6 stingray. there were 3 cobras in this race # 7, including bob johnson from columbus ohio. i believe blatchley was driving an ex-grady davis gulf oil 63 ZO6 tanker that don had bought from grady. if don wasn't driving the 63 ZO6, he'd have been in his 62 RPO vet. mike
