The build sheet , tank stocker , and window sticker are original. We believe the engine to be the original not a re stamp. We also welcome any pre purchase inspections. Please contact Kerry directly with any questions, and we will be happy to work with you. Thank you. - Kerry. 561-860-2309
Customer Comment/Question: does this car have its born with engine or a restamp? Is the documentation build sheet and window sticker original or reproduction would like to inspect it

Re: 67 for sale on ebay
Bob,
It's a beautiful car...obviously. With that said, the seller claims the car was built on March 1, 1967. C2 registry would show that as estimated birth date. However, the trim tag is stamped G17...February 17th. If that's the case, doesn't everything else become rather suspect. Engine assembly February 15...just two days prior to car assembly. Transmission 7B21, February 21...four days after car was assembled. Also, numbers on window sticker look extremely crisp and tank sticker is amazingly perfect. I, by my own admisssion, am no expert but these are just my observations.Leif

The current technology with services available from NCRS are the only way to be sure.

The trim tags says St. Louis. The doors say AO Smith, the seat reinforcements say AO Smith.

Re: 67 for sale on ebay
Ok guys. I saw this car less than two months ago at a car show in Orlando where it was for sale. I confirmed it was the same car by the serial number which matches the photos I took with my phone. One thing that also really stuck in my mind was the screw clamp+ spring clamp on the top heater hose. The owner said he had like over 300 k invested but had now been told the paperwork was bogus and that the engine was in fact restamped. He directed me to the Street machine website for the description and additional photos as it was getting dark when I saw the car. It was offered to me for $85k. I thought it was a really nice car for $85k but did not buy it. I don't know if it was born a 435 car but other than a few odd things, it was beautiful. Tranistor ignition was in place but disconnected and running on points. I was SHOCKED to see it on EBAY now for $199k!!!!!!!!!!!! I just thought I would let everyone know of my conversation with the previous owner and the response from this dealer. any other comments are appreciated- Top

Re: 67 for sale on ebay
For those looking for a car like this and not fully knowledgeable, I think this is a great learning experience to discuss a car like this. Perhaps someone will recognize this car especially since it was supposedly restored by an NCRS judge. Someone out there is likely keeping a database of questionable cars.- Top

Re: 67 for sale on ebay
A peeve I have is a comment like "Just finished frame off restoration by NCRS Judge."
which is meaningless; and intended to re-assure. The restorer and his/her affiliations are irrelevant (even if true). Was it restored to NCRS standards? Was it Flight judged? How did it score?
Having an experienced and knowledgeable individual personally and physically examine the car (and documents) is the only way to be sure.- Top

Re: 67 for sale on ebay
I love how ads always say "restored by an NCRS judge" Why don't they list the name of the judge who restored it? I think that we know the answer. Bottom line is if that car had real paper, tags, engine stamp in those colors and options, it would be worth hundreds of thousands more than what the seller is asking for this car.- Top
