Format of very early 1960 VIN tags

looks the same as my VIN 007 Tag
- mine non-magnetic so I assume Stainless (but could be Alum?)

There are also the Alum Heads and CZ Block on VIN 002 Resto that will be interesting to understand more detail on

- can not imagine those heads survived years of road miles
(over the years there have been a few Alum heads offered for sale - BUT i assumed these were new Service Parts?)
- first Alum heads had bad porosity, that is why never released in volume

S0...VIN 002 was a No Sale at the Carlisle Auction Friday.

- bid up to like $140K
- did not seem via Vid On-Line there were many bidders?
- Auctioneer said "it will take $200K to get this Vette"

1960 Corvette VIN #00001 is in The Shed auto museum in Warroad, Minnesota. It's white/red with fuel injection. I've seen the car, but I don't remember the VIN tag well. From the video of it on YouTube, it appears to be stamped, not embossed.
