C1 WIRING QUESTION - Rear Parking Lights & Heater Blower

I have installed a new complete wiring harness however I am having an issue with two items - Rear parking Lights and heater blower.

My front headlights and parking lights are working great however when my parking lights are on nothing is going on in the rear nor including the license plate lights. However both my brake lights and turn signals are working fine. _ Any suggestions to check with a meter or circuit tester?

Also my blower motor is has the brown wire plugged in correctly but the motor is not working. It was tested before installing any suggestions, thinking it could be a ground issues since their is a rubber gasket between the housing and the motor. What ground the motor itself.

    thnaks,

    Eric

Eric, blower motor ground comes from the cable for the temp control when attached to the valve. It's screws touch the metal triangular plate attached to the squirrel cage then to the motor. You can add a extra ground from the back of the clock bezel to the cage if desired as a failsafe but not Jdg'ing of course.

Rear lights.....Since Turn Signals and Brake Lamps work, you have a good ground at the fixtures. But if they don't work ONLY when the other lights work, it could be a ground issue. If not............

Start probing at the Headlight switch, then the rear harness connector under dash then your wiring in trunk.

At the HL switch it's the 20G Black wire. Ground your meter ant test for 12V there, then to the rear harness connector then back at the light sockets. Could be a bad HL switch or a bad connection in the harness connector block.
