1959 Corvette Drum shoe width

What is the width of the front and rear shoes ?

Old shoes were 2 inches wide, front and rear.

New Raybestos and Bendix shoes are 1.75 inches.

Haven't found anything in Nolan Adams book, AIM or shop manaul.

Drum surface measures 2.25 inches, so I'm thinking the old 2 inch shoes are correct.

Local car parts store noted 2 inch from shoes, 1.75 inch rear.......

Any help is greatly appreciated !!!!!!!!

Fronts are 2", rears are 1.75". See Noland's book, page 311 ('58 and '59 are the same).
