What is the correct silver for the 58 Wheel?

All 1958 wheels are silver as noted on page 42 of the 58-60 JM. Also note that all 1958 wheels have a rubber tubing shoved between the rim slots to help keep stones out of the assy.

I believe he knows that they are to be silver: I think he is asking what is the correct code/mix/tint for the silver.

Yes, I do know that I need to paint them silver. Looking for a paint code or name of the color. Thanks for any help.

image.jpgJust had these done by local Powdercoating shop in there basic silver. Looks very close to Inca silver and has no noticeable metallic content present in direct sunlight. Price was $30 each after having them soda blasted by someone else. They are dated dog bones. Hope this helps.

Had mine done a few months back by local C1 restorer. Inca Silver is the color.

I believe that all wheels were painted with enamel paint from my days at GM. They would never use a metallic paint on wheels.
