Hinge pillar weatherstrip replacement (convertible)

Looking for observation from anyone who's recently installed either Corvette Rubber repro or GM NORS windshield side frame/hinge pillar weatherstrip assemblies: do the 'top' ends of the rubber weatherstrips come correct in length, or do they come with an extra length so as to be trimmed during fitting/assembly? Thanks in advance.

I think the last I installed were correct. The old GM was too long.
