Judges opinion on C1 convertible tops

I'm about to replace the original top on my polo white 56. It has beige top that is ripped.
I see vendors like Corvette American and Al Knoch offering replacement tops.
When it comes to "correct" replacements, which vendor products get the top scores for materials, fit, finish, codes?

I new to this and appreciate any guidance offered.

    Michael,

Al Knoch with the John Kennedy pads. John Kennedy pads are to the original specs.

      Thanks Gary.

Please let me know if you (or anyone else) can recommend any good upholstery shop in So Cal to put these on.

Al Knotch's factory/facility is located I believe in the El Paso, TX area, good roads from CA across AZ, nice drive in a 1956 Corvette if it is ready/able for a road trip for a professional installation by his installers who travel to events they attend.
In the 80's Al Knotch himself installed the white convertible top that is still on my 1968 Corvette convertible.

Al Knoch goes to Pomona, California twice a year for a swap meet, not sure if that works for you. His show sch. is listed on his web site.
