corvette 1965 engine number stamp help

I've brought a 65 its about 6 days away from docking in the UK I have all the info of the 65 except the engine number
So the vin is 194375s103737 it a 300 AC code HR

So engine stamp will be 5103737 XXXXXHR

I need the rest of the engine number for the customs and duty / government, yes I should have taken note when I checked the vette over - my bad

the alpha numerics u seek are unique to the engine in your 65, hence none of us can supply them. you will have to wait till the ship docks to get the info. mike

You can guess.... it should read F0915HR through F1015HR would be my guess.....FMMDDHR

Thanks i'll take the f1015hr they don't check the engines but at some time it has to go on our pink slips if its slightly different I can cover it off then - thanks again guys as always really helpful

In case you're curious, the F1111HR decodes as an engine assembled at the Flint engine plant on November 11th. Rather significant date.

when I brought my 67 CORVETTE into the country a few years ago they did not care about the engine number, the VIN is what they did care about. If you are on a base the base vehicle registration can help you with all the forms. also I had to hire an "agent" for me once it arrived in port, I have a connection possibly if you haven't arranged this already. It should all be done prior to your car being shipped over. What dock are you using. I imported 5 cars while i was there. You can bring it over duty free if you have a SOFA stamp in your passport like I did. Good luck with it over there. My 65 also is an auto with ac and has a HR code on the pad like yours.

Jimmy am a UK resident so I have to pay the tax - Vettes coming into Tilbury London - vin info is fine as I have a copy of the pink slip it was the request of the engine pad that threw me - that's all sorted now - the UK registration document which is your pink slip also has the engine pad details on this is to reduce and control theft of a vehicle also cut and shunt , which is where they put two damaged cars together to make one.
