I don't believe any of the current repro tar top type batteries are wet cell. I believe they are AGM type batteries inside of a full size battery case. Restoration Battery sells the repro 2SMR 53-458 with tar for $290 and without tar for $265. I received zero deduct during Flight judging with the tar top battery.
