Slight indent C1 seats

I noticed most all C1 Corvette seats have a slight indent in the center of the seats. Its that normal or do to wear? Are points subtracted for such seats.

The seat bottoms should have a slight indent for that is the way they came from the factory. This is achieved when the seats are done by pulling the covers down and tying to the seat frame with the cords that are sewn to the bottom of the covers. Most judges will take off one or two points for originality when this indent is not present.

That is correct -- there are a couple of pics of original C1 seats in Noland Adams Voi 1 .. Here is my '61 seat redone by Al Knoch two years ago.
