light bulb filter and hood Asms

I am somewhat confused about placement and number of hood assemblies and filters to use on my 66 with A/C light bulbs

I see on the C-60 section that I should place the bulbs along with the metal hoods and green filters on either side of the clock mount .I assume at the 3 and 9 o'clock position. I also see that the AIM under heater controls , calls out for a light /hood/and filter on the 6 o'clock position of the clock mount as well . I only have two green filters , and as far as I can remember only ever did .

Does A/C eliminate the 6 o'clock bulb, hood and filter ?

Lastly ,how many bulbs in total get the hoods, get the filters , and where do they all go ?

    Jim -

The two added "torpedo" lamps on a separate harness with A/C ("wire assembly") that go at 3 and 9 o'clock are left and right, as noted in the Assembly Manual, so the A/C control bezels get illuminated. The production lamp at the 6 o'clock position is still used, to illuminate the heater control bezels, and its installation is shown in your Assembly Manual in UPC 1-Asm, sheet E6, View "C", items 23, 24, and 25.

        Jim,

I thought I was missing one as well...look around under / on top of the radio or under the carpet. That's were I found the one I was missing.
A touch of super glue makes sure they don't fall off again. They are available from most of the Corvette vendors.

This extra harness with bulbs, filters and hoods started in 1964. So for you 63 A/C guys, don't start looking for anything.
