Take off my 58 radio central console

Hi, i want to take off my central radio and heater console to paint it this winter. Is anybody have picture of a 58 console? I can't find the way to take it off... Thank's. Michel

It is bonded in as part of the body Build. Not intended to be removable.

Michel, as with your glove box console (and as Bill has said) it is bonded in place and is not meant to remove. This console (as well as your glove box console) were in place wen the car was painted. No concern for overspray on floor boards or to the rear of the trans. tunnel. Should be there for correct restoration. If painting lacquer paint, be sure to spray "wet" so that it dries glossy. Too little paint applied too lightly will give you a satin finish which is not what you want.

Its an easy job and don't even try to remove it...tin foil is your friend.
Here is my primer coat.
