I am replacing the left, driver's side louver panel on my 64. Tried a press molded one from one of the distribution houses but it doesn't come close to fitting properly. Not sure Shimmershine would be any better. Does anyone know of a source producing a good product? I have located a used original missing the narrow piece that goes across the top of the wheel well and would rather not deal with that. No luck so far in finding a nice used original or NOS. Thanks! Re: 1964 louver panel
The panel Harry found for you is very restorable. The little breakout on the aft edge can be fixed easily and will not be visible when installed and painted. I used NOS GM parts for my front clip except for Sermershems louver panels. No fitment issues at all. That was 25 years ago and things may have changed by now... but I doubt it.

Re: 1964 louver panel
Original 63-64 side panels have not been available since the 60s. The reproducers used what they could find to make their parts, and they are not good. Sermershems panel is better than Image in this case, but none are really good.- Top
