Rear Window Defogger Repair

Has anyone had success in repairing broken contacts in the rear window defogger array? I have about 6 lines that are not working and the breaks are up at the top, not within the rear glass itself. The car is a 1979.

There any many rear defogger grid repair kits out the. and have had luck with them. the problem is that they do not match the color from the factory. You will have to carefully tape the line as to not go out of the factory line.

I have used the Locktite Quick Grid Repair Resin on my 1977. I did it in 2001 and it still works great. The car was PV'd are the Nationals at Hampton, VA.

Thank you for the replies. I could not find a store who carries the Locktite kit in my area, but found a Permatex repair kit for about $15.00 at the major auto parts places. I might give that a try.
