'66 427 engine pad stamping HELP CLARIFY, PLEASE.

I have the latest 1966 Corvette Technical Manual and Judging Guide. There seems to be some changes in it compared to something I read in an earlier version ( which I don't have). On page 89 under Mechanical Big Block it references the correct stamping for a Tiowanda built engine and shows the example as: T0315IP ( Tiowanda March 15 IP for L72 425HP).
I thought I had read that for the Engine there were NOT ANY Stamps for number ones used, ONLY A LETTER "I" (capital i). Therefore my L 36 390 HP engine built on January 10 1966 would be stamped as: T0II0IL . and the car vin as 6112419.
Yes, this is a replacement for my original 427 car.

George, the number 1 was used in the VIN, but in the engine suffix code the letter I was used for the number 1, but there maybe a number 1 used also but I understand its rare on a big block.

FYI My 66 427/390 Built 12/16/65 pad reads TI206 IL no #1. Not sure this helps you but I have not seen a #1 in the suffix code.
