    David,

Joe Ray a NCRS members and frequent TDB poster does "outstanding" gauge repair and restoration. Highly recommend Joe Ray gauge repair service.

D&M almost ruined my Tachometer and clock .They spray paint the cans .Looks like &^%^&*. . Clock did not work and the Tachometer made a clicking noise. They offered absolutely NO help. Had to send them to Ricks restoration 800 631 1270.Not the one on TV . They came back beautiful . Highly recommended.

Have to say, between here and the CF, that's the first complaint I've ever heard about these folks....

Not saying it didn't happen -- just the first I've heard of it...

                        Re: Speedometer restoration

I have used D&M several times with good results. However, this last go round on my 69 was unacceptable. They sent my Tach and Speedometer back with sand in them. This was from the initial clean up process and somehow came to me with sand throughout. They were unapologetic and seemed bothered I was sending them back. They wanted me to take them apart and clean them out and install them. I was unwilling to take the chance that the sand blast media was all in the mechanism, which it was. They sprayed my cans even though I asked them not to. I will not use them again.
