The seller comments that the person who bought the Corvette from him didn't want the original motor.
I don't suspect this one will end up back in its original location.

What the ad states is "the motor came out of the CAR he just sold"....doesn't say it was the car the engine came with. Happy Holidays!!

Look at the Questions & Answers at the bottom of the auction:

"...a replacement engine was installed in the Corvette before I purchased it.I now have sold the Corvette & the new owner did not want the original engine."

That suggests that this was, in fact, the original engine to the car he just sold.

I think you may be correct in re-reading that statement. If so, the new owner is a dumbazz for not taking the original to the car engine.

Who knows what the original engine was priced at by the seller of the car. I'm sure it wasn't free. Not everyone is infected with the same virus as we all are 'round here..

The original car was so heavily modified that it didn't matter. It was a few miles from my home, saw the ad on Craigslist.
