Were all 1969 clock knobs chrome? Mine has a black knob. The clock is dated appropriate to the car. thanks

Personally, I have NEVER seen an original knob that was not chrome.

By the way, while still chrome, the later SERVICE knobs were somewhat larger in OD than original knobs.

My 1968 and 1970 original knobs are chrome.

In judging interiors for over twenty years, I have never seen anything but chrome, and nothing to verify anything different surfaced during research for the 1968-69 JG revision.

A couple of years ago there was a thread about clock knobs that contained a picture of a known original '69 clock knob. A search of the archives may turn it up.
