I still have my original December 1962 built raidiator, for my 63, although it is unserviceable.
When I found out about the clamp indentations I went to look for them on the original.
They were so faint it took lighting at just the correct angle to even know they were there.
Of course the paint is thick on the top and that made it easier to hide them.
This may be a very difficult item to judge for this reason.
Because of the unique upper hose attachment on the radiator is easy to identify the raidiator as a replacement.

Bottom line;
Dewitt’s would likely have to over indent the Raidiator for the clamp marks to be identified as such.
At least biased on my single sample.

Harry, regarding the clamping marks on the radiator, at the very recent New England regional meet, which you were significantly involved in, my car received deduct for that lack of marks on the radiator. The judges are in fact looking for those marks now.

Gary, you are correct. But when this thread started in 2014 they were not lookig for them. I spoke with Tom DeWitt a few years back and they were considering adding them, and they did.
