    C60 Battery cable routing. Etc.

I am looking at the C60 AIM page that changes the battery cable position for A/C , but the picture is vague and the wording faded. (it says "clutch ??? attaching bolt ", I assume it means the bell housing bolt immediately behind the oil filter. I am further assuming that the cable goes under the Clutch Rod but over the Clutch Fork Rod and spring .Correct ???

Also if the Single Black Ground wire that went to the attaching bolt of the Starter along with the battery cable on non A/C cars still goes there even though the battery cable does not .

    Thanks,
    Jim

    Jim -

I don't have an A/C car here to verify it, but your description of the battery ground cable routing sounds correct - it goes under the head of the bellhousing bolt just below the locating dowel. Yes, the black ground wire for the wiper motor and A/C blower still goes under the outboard starter-to-block bolt.

      Jim,

A picture (or, six) are always worth a ton of words. The negative cable rides along the side of the battery, then proceeds under the clutch rod and under the clutch spring proceeding over to the firewall where it is retained by a "J" clip riveted to the firewall and then to the bell housing bolt. See pics.

Just noticed my spark plug wire shield is out of place...fixed.
