63 Rear Springs

Is there any differences between 63 and other C2's reference the standard suspension leaf springs ?

Ralph, the 63 is a one year only rear and fronts also are one year only. the rear leafs on a 63 all have a common curve, and 64 and up the top 3 leafs are flat. However when the car is on the ground you can not tell, they all look the same.

If I recall correctly, the 1963 leaf spring had rounded ends for each of the spring leaves whereas the 1964 and later were square ends. I'm not 100% sure, though.

The 1963 front coil springs were single rate style (i.e. more-or-less equal spacing between coils). 1964 and later (except F-41) were dual rate and had closer spaced coils at the top of the spring, as-installed.

Joe, Rear leaf is the same as the other years, turned up ends, and squared off, just all the 9 leafs were curved the same.
