427 carburetor date difference relative to Car Birthday?

What is the production-typical number of weeks in the difference of the dates of 427 carburetors and final assembly ??

And does it vary with early , mid and late production???

(What do we see on the judging fields?)

    Thx T

    Tony,

Here's one example for you, from a 66 (I believe my engine to be original to the car):

    Car birthday: May 24, 1966
    Block: 3869942 Cast Date B46 February 4, 1966
    Engine Stamp Pad: T0516IP May 16, 427 c.i. / 425 hp
    Carb.: GM 3886101 Holley 3247 Date 651 1st week of May 1966

    I hope this helps.
    Joe

I am still looking for some insight to this question, any help and experience appreciated.....
I would think that about 3-5 weeks difference is the typical number, but would like to check.
      Thx, T
