Mid year interior assembly question

At what point did the assembly line instal the center console and upper most screws. After puting the interior together on dads 67 coupe with C60. And what a pain that was to get those screws started and tighten up.

The console plate was just about the last part that went on the car, on the Final Trim Line, after installing the interior, carpets, and seat belts; the seats went in after the console plate.

I would have love to see them put in those screws Or is there a secret tip I don't know about
