The earliest 351 block I have seen is F-1-6, June 1st. Some very late 66 cars got 351 blocks. Ironically, some early 67 cars got 942 blocks cast in May 66. I have seen one or two in which the 942 casting number was ground off and the 351 casting numbeer was hand stamped in its place. Someone in a thread on this topic also reported an unaltered 942 block in an early 67 car but I have not seen that personally.

I have #350 1967 427/390 with an engine casting date of H66 (engine build date of 08-19) and the casting number is 3904351 that is a correct raised number. I have seen examples of later cars with a ground and stamped 3904351 casting number.
