shifter shims between levers

I have taken my shifter apart and have a shim I'm not sure where it goes. Its a thin shim less then a 1/16". It's OEM 4-speed.
I'd appreciate any help I can get here! Joe

it goes between reverse lever and the 1-2 lever. mike

hold off on the above advice. i'm installing the rebuilt shifter on a midyear muncie and having troubles. think i may have mis-placed the shim. will get back to you in an hour or so. sorry, mike

i was correct in my initial post. the shim technically referred to as an interlock, is positioned between reverse lever and the 1-2 lever. mike
