My car still has all 5 original KH bolt-on wheels and I have been looking for the Unobtanium Screwdriver - the Irwin 200 - 5" - finally found one, so for the N89 people, keep looking, they are out there

OK Don, I found a set of original bolt ons for my car but can't bring myself to pay for them. My question is where did you find the screwdriver and without being specific, was it insanely expensive?

Hi Robert - they are out there, every once in a while on eBay, and more commonly, they will show up word-of-mouth from a current or prior N89 owner. So it's basically just waiting to see if a guy-who-knows-a-guy-who-knows-a-guy deal shows up. I found a prior owner (initially through asking at one of my NCRS Chapter meetings) who decided it was better to re-unite one of these screwdrivers with a real N89 car than leave it in his shop's Corvette nostalgia collection. Yes expensive (for a screwdriver). I had also tried places like ProTeam, they may get one in. Good luck!

Be aware that at one time there was a "repro" out there treading water.........
