Hi guys, any suggestions besides sending a wiper motor away to restore the look of it?. Ive been cleaning it for days...should I paint the housing with an aluminum paint and the end cap with a cad paint?..any tips would be greatly appreciated as theres no one in Canada that restores these that I know of and shipping back and forth to the US plus the horrible exchange on the dollar makes it not worth it,thanks,Greg

Re: Restoring 67 Wiper motor
Greg,
First lets assume you have completely disassembled the wiper motor. Most restorers glass bead the wiper housing and pump body. Then the pump cover, end cap to the motor and pump backing plate are sent to the plater for either zinc or cad.
Painting the body or end cap will look neat and clean but it won't fool any judge into giving you full points.
Find you a buddy in the US, drive over the line and when it's ready visit your buddy again.
