1971 Corvette - Wiper Door Vacuum Control Solenoid

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know where I can buy a Wiper Door Vacuum Control Solenoid? This bolts to the back of the tach.

Seems all the major restoration parts outlets are back ordered on this... Any suggestions of places to try would be great.

There are several on eBay right now including one that purports to be "NOS". Beware, though, even though this one comes with a GM box, I have looked it over carefully and I don't think it's new. It looks to me like it was once mounted. It could be that it was the one that was REPLACED and then "installed" in the original box. The seller might not be aware of this but the worst part is it's being sold AS-IS with NO RETURN. In my opinion, anyone that would pay 160 bucks for this item is nuts. Anyway, search on 5638276.

By the way, the reproductions, which are 100 % functional, are not configured like the originals, if that matters to you.
