Not wanting to in any way hijack this thread, but can you share with me the location of the vin on a '67 frame? I checked the TIM&JG with no luck.

The frame is stamped in two locations on 1963-82 Corvettes. The first location is on the upper surface of the left side frame rail at about the location of the seats. This stamping cannot be seen with the body on the frame. The other location is on the rear frame "kick-up" area on the upper surface of the left side frame rail. It's approximately in line with the rear spindles. This one can be seen between the body and frame rail using a small mirror.
