Vette shop in Tennessee - Windshield issues

Does anyone know a vette builder anywhere near Tennessee that might have experience installing a C1 windshield. A name and number would be a big help. I am have issues with it coming down flush on the car in both corners, need someone that has installed a few to show me if the frame is wrong or what is going on.

Eric, Are you asking about the entire lower frame assembly sitting flush to the body? It is very common for the outer corners to have a slightly larger gap to the body than the center area.

Can you take several photos of yours to show your issue?

Ken Hansen's Corvette Restoration Shop is in Medina, Tennessee. He has done many windshield installations. His phone number is (731) 783-0815.

The only way to get the bottom of the windshield frame to fit flush to the body on a C1 is to fit it to the car before paint as bodywork is the way to make it fit.
That is why GM used a black strip caulk to fill the normal gap.

Please post your eventual solution. I have the same problem and have posted a couple times trying to get a solution. It fit perfect before I took it off. No need for bodywork or caulking. Now have 3/16" between chrome and body at corners and the windshield assembly does not sit on body correctly.
