Seat Belts for an early 1967 coupe

My 67 coupe was built 12-08-66 and currently has repro seat belts and shoulder harnesses. I am looking for originals but all I can find are dated too late for the car. I need somethign like 46E66 as a date. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Robert,

My '67 was built 12-12-66 (VIN 05818) and I have teal blue interior. My original seat belt tags were dated 35-E-66 (laps) and 32-E-66 (shoulder) and my seat belt stakes (Outer laps) are dated 7-66.

Teal blue not being the most popular colour - these belts were most likely from the first run of belts for 1967. If you have the standard black interior, I would image the dates for your belts should be closer to the build date of your car.

I had Charlie Santorelli - 908-719-2354 build me a complete set of belts and asked him to date my tags the same as the originals.

Occasionally, you will see belts on eBay, but chances of finding originals with the dates you need will be slim to nil.....

Rob, call Charlie. He is the end all be all of seat belts. Not cheap but if you're willing to bring the interior to the next level there is no one better in the business. He's done 10+ sets for me over the yrs...
